Two story cabin for rent on beautiful and peaceful Richter Lake in Taylor County WI. If you are looking to relax and get away from it all, you have found your destination! Cabin is located on a prime location right on Richter Lake with great views right out your windows. The cabin is located within the Chequamegon National Forest offering many other outdoor recreational activities.
Cabin has 3 spacious bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms. Antique claw foot bath tub and corner shower in lower level bathroom with separate toilet and bidet. Upper level has an additional 1/2 bath. Two living room areas and full kitchen w/dining area. Cabin is fully furnished and has a full kitchen. Kitchen includes stove/oven, full-sized refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee pot, pots/pans, dishes, etc. Cabin has a working fireplace, and all bedding is provided. Cabin rental also includes use of canoe, row-boat, BBQ grill, picnic table, outdoor chairs, wooden swing, fire pit, & private dock. Just bring yourselves, a change of clothes, and some food!
Master bedroom has a full sized bed, 2nd upstairs bedroom has two twin size beds, upper living room has a Queen sized pull out sofa sleeper & a full sized futon. Downstairs bedroom has a full sized bed, and downstairs living area has a queen sized pull out sofa sleeper. Making it possible to sleep up to 12 guests comfortably. Surcharge will be charged for over 6 guests of $10 per person/per night ( will be discounted for weekly/monthly renters).

grill less than 5 minutes away. Richter lake is a 46 acre no wake lake nestled in the Chequamegon National Forest in Central Taylor County Wisconsin with a variety of fish, turtles, ducks, and a pair of loons. Bald Eagles are often seen circling the lake. Great area for deer, turkey, bear, grouse, pheasant, & other wild game hunting. There are many other lakes just a few miles away including Lake Kathryn, Lake Eska, Lake Esadore, Anderson Lake, Clear Lake, Miller Dam, Monduex Flowage, Lake Eleven, Hulls Lake, North Twinn, Sackett Lake, and Salem Lake. There is a ton of recreational activities in the area for the outdoor enthusiasts.
Things to do while at the cabin:
*Chequamegon National Forest – hunting, hiking, horseback riding (Ice Age Trail), four wheeling trails, snowmobiling trails.
*Perkinstown Winter Sports Area just a few miles away. Has tubing, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and an annual snowshoe race.
*Fishing, swimming, and Boating in your own back yard or go to one of the other nearby lakes in the area. Lakes within just a few miles which you can water ski, jet ski, etc.
Available for monthly, weekly, weekend, or nightly rental:
$500.00 for the week (In at Friday at 4 p.m, out following Friday by 10 a.m.)-can be negotiable as far as days. Can not include part of two weekends.
$350.00 for weekends (Friday 4 p.m. – Sunday 10 a.m.)
$100.00 per night for week nights (Monday-Thursday)

Check in at 4 p.m. and check out by 10 a.m. Times and days are negotiable based on availability of cabin.
Cabin is available to rent May through November. Taking reservations now for 2016 & 2017. Priority will be given to those wanting to rent the cabin for a week, but we are happy to accommodate those wanting weekend or nightly rental based on availability. Cabin will not be available in Winter months (December – March) for weekly or monthly renters but may be available to rent for the late Fall and Winter months for a short term renter (call to inquire would be a 4-5 month rental agreement at a different rental rate).
Due to the time it takes to clean the cabin for the next guests, a $50 cleaning fee must be charged for reservations less than two nights.
Absolutely no smoking is allowed inside the cabin.

The maximum occupancy is 12 guests staying at the cabin. There is an additional charge per guest for over 6 guests ($10 per night/per additional guest for nightly renters, and $50 per week/per guest for weekly renters).
As part of the owner’s philosophy of this cabin truly being a relaxing & enjoyable retreat to get away from life’s everyday stress & demands it does not have internet (Wi-Fi). There are two TVs in the cabin so that you can watch the news and a DVD player for rainy afternoons. One TV is hooked up to an anntenae to recieve local channels.
